The Mobile Edge Wi-Fi Locator is small enough to fit nicely on your keychain and doesn't add extra bulk to your keychain. It's easy to use and when those times arise when you don't want to stay in a hot spot location but use your vehicle, this gadget is ideal.
I was able to test the Wi-Fi locator at a couple locations and I really liked the fact that the LED display will indicate how strong the signal is. You need only hold down the button until you have a the lights solid. Flashing lights indicate it is seeking the Wi-Fi signal.
At one test location, the area for using Wi-Fi was rather large but as I discovered the most comfortable spot wasn't where the signal was strongest. Ensuring you have a strong, reliable signal is important when trying to work and you can waste a lot of time searching out the best location to receive a strong signal.
Using the Mobile Edge Wi-Fi locator enabled me to quickly find where the signal was strongest and get to work quickly.
If you frequently use hot spots and hate the frustration of finding a strong signal location, using this wi-fi locator will cut down on a lot of time and aggravation.
